Affording ammo purchase

Would you sell a gun to fund ammo purchase?

There are deals out there but I just cannot afford it.

Two kids going to preschool and that pretty much explains it.

Yes, spare ammo is more important than a spare gun.

Ammo is not going to get any better than this over the next 6 months.

I would, especially if its something non-essential or a luxury item.

Ammo prices and availability are great right now, in favor of the buyer, and now is the time to stock up.

Without ammo, the guns is just a paperweight anyways, and I feel defense guns are things that require some on going maintenance anyways, as in range time to maintain proficiency. Unfortunately there is a cost to doing that.

Depends. If it's a gun you can easily replace if you needed to, or if you don't really care for the gun then go for it.

But if you have no ammo for a gun, the gun is pretty useless.

That being said, I only buy ammo when it's on sale to try and save as much as I can.

You should save a little money and get a basic reloading setup.

Needs a gofundme page as ammo is necessity of life with children to practice protecting. Bet some of us can donate some ammo.

On roster guns, yep, cause you (hopefully) can still buy them in a few years when preschool is done or less (goes from full time to after school only or aomething).

Off roster, heck no. Keep those and just suffer the permit process and ffl cost even though it's so f,ed up.

Rather than a starbucks coffee or a fast food lunch tuck that money away for ammo. You can find ways to scrimp a 5 or 10 here and there.

I worked small jobs on the side to afford my hobby. It can be done.
