    Hearing Protection

    Hello all,

    Looking for a great set of hearing protection. I really enjoy listening to my ipod when shooting but my earbuds hanging down sometimes get in the way a bit. Trying to find a really nice pair with ipod jack installed and more than 30db noise reduction. Price is not an issue. Any suggestions appreciated!

      I have heard that the Peltor 7s are very nice but I think only 24 db and no earphone jack. I know the Peltor "Comtac" models have an input jack but maybe less NR.
      The "Peltor MT15H7F SV Tactical Pro Hearing Protector" have an audio jack and 26 db NR
      I have heard people love PRO EARS but have never used them.

      Hopefully you will get better answers since I probably have not answered your question.

              Howard Leight Impact Sports are a great value at around $50. Has an audio in port as well.

              Peltor Comtac and MSA Sordin are even better but cost more. Not sure which of them have audio jacks either.
