Currently I have a Springfield xd40 with a barrel conversion for 9mm as my home defense/go to pistol.
As much as I like it, I am still wanting to get a glock 19. anyone else find themselves on the same boat? What is it about the glock 19?
I like that it is a bit more compact, can accept the 17 magazine and is perfect for smaller hands(my wife). Although she likes my 92fs. The xd40 has the extra Palm safety feature but it really doesn't bother me or get in the way.
I've been really thinking of just buying the glock 19 on impulse.

The Glock 19 is on my next to get list for sure.

It would make a great all around SHTF, Conceal Carry, Range, BLM, Camping, blah blah gun.

Gen 3's are still on roster as well.

Do it, you probably won't regret it. I hated Glocks, still do, then I shot a G19.......
Targets, like yoga pants, don't lie. I have a Gen 3 I shoot a lot, and a Gen 4 I've never shot. ( Talo Semper Fi edition)

I have and as far as Polymer guns, the USP is my favorite...but I prefer metal frames....just how I roll

So today I walked in to turner's and checked out the glock 19 with front fiber optic sight for 569.99 I also held the sig mk25 for sale at 999.99 and comes with night sights and three mags. While it was tempting, I preferred the fiber sight over the tritium ones. I was able to get up on target a lot faster wth the fiber optic sight. Also checked out the sig scorpion 226. I can't justify the price tag of a sig vs glock to my wife lol.

I left the store empty handed but with my mind on the glock. The fiber optic reenforced my decision. Also, when I got home, I began to handle my Xd40 and it felt heavier than the 19. the slide also felt a bit hard to rack. I guess tomorrow I'll go back and buy it.
