Heehee, and yet they make the BX25 for the 10/22...

I like the mini 14 but prefer an AK/SKS for the AK round...Just seems right...
Also never liked the Norinco AKs in .223.... just didn't seem right...

Good gun and a good price. The Ruger Mini 30 is a good deer and hog hunting rifle at reasonable distances. The only caveat to the Mini 30 is that there have been some issues with people using steel cased ammo. Stick with brass cased (I know more expensive) and you will have an enjoyable rifle to shoot.

They don't like Tula, Brown Bear, Red Army, etc. But there is a modification that can fix that.

I didn't get one last year due the nonavailability at the time of factory 10rd mags, but I'd get one now despite the Russian ammo issues at this price and do this simple modification.

How is the accuracy? Better than an AK? As good as an AR-47? My home built does 1 moa with match ammo.

Good deal but personally the SKS would be a better option IMO. Nothing cheaper than stripper clips.
