    Mini 30 at Turners

The new flyer has them on sale for $699.00 Not a bad price. I picked one up as I haven't seen them that cheap for a while. EDIT: Wood stock, Blue steel.

    That is a good price.

Good price, prefer the wood stock anyway.

But where are you going to get mags for it at? That is my issue with the 30 over the 14, no factory 10rd mags and by most reports the off brand mini-30 mags have feeding issues.

If you can find Ruger 10 round mags for the 30 snap 'em up.

Well SOB, I thought you were confusing the 14 with the 30:

This does make the Mini-30 a more attractive CA option

Yeah, and I sold my Mini-30 a few years ago because I couldn't find any reliable mags and all Ruger had at the time were 5 Rd mags. I did make a nice profit off of it though......

Good gun and a good price. The Ruger Mini 30 is a good deer and hog hunting rifle at reasonable distances. The only caveat to the Mini 30 is that there have been some issues with people using steel cased ammo. Stick with brass cased (I know more expensive) and you will have an enjoyable rifle to shoot.

I have a mini 14 and love it. I would like a mini 30 but they don't take standard AK mags. And I heard they have feeding issues depending on the ammo and if you use an after market mag.

That is a great price. Also nice to see that Ruger finally came out with a 10 round mag.

Damn, when did Ruger start making the 10rd available again for the mini-30? Must have been sometime last year because I almost bought one in early 2016 and they were not being made by Ruger at that time.

Now I just have to have one.

Darn... now I'm thinking of selling my 14. This always happens to me....

Ive shot probably 3,000 rounds of steel cased ammo and maybe 2,000 of brass through my mini 30. Never once a hickup with what the gun will devour down its throat.

^^^ Never heard that one. I have both Ruger and ProMag (10-rounder) in blue and nickel plated versions. Never once have I had any hiccups with the magazines.

I have had FTF due to a few bad rounds, but never a jam with the gun. It's the American AK-47.
