    Help advice

Hello, new to group. I could use legal advice. About two years ago my property was seized with a search Warren pertaining to a roommate. My gun safe was forced open and i was charged with felony possesion of an assault weapon. I have hired an attorney and keep getting the slow walk from the court. My attorney says Fremont court doesnt normally return firearm. I plead to m32. Can they keep my firearms being I am not a felon and have no prohibiting misdemeanor.

You said.charged with felony possession of a.assualt weapon. Still pending ? Or were you found guilty.?
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Maybe you should hire an attorney for legal advise, instead of stranger's on the internet.

Two years in and you do not have legal counsel? There will be many more questions and comments before the night is over...

OP, that's the person that you need to be asking. Good luck with any answers you my get from here, just remember one thing: I'm willing to bet that nobody here is giving you legal advice.

That result would have a lot of influence on whether you might be a felon.

As already suggested, your lawyer is your best source of answers in this situation.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Who's that Warren guy anyway? Sounds like a dork.

"Sir, we have a Warren to search your premises."

"You... wait. You have a what?"

"A Warren, sir. He's five years old and he fits under beds and behind cabinets real good. He'll be searching your house."

"I see, haha... Ok then. Hey he's adorable"

"Sir, Warren found assault weapon in your bedroom."

"Haha, I get it, a 'salt' weapon. You guys are cracking me up."

                          "No, an actual assault weapon."

                          "Oh. That."

You have representation but you're here seeking legal advice? Seems odd.

What did your attorney say when you asked him this same question?

According to post #1, his attorney said:
