    CA Roster Law, the future?

Do you see a future where the Roster Law is lifted and does not apply anymore? What do you guys think?

I have thought the same thing, although with the librards running this State I don't see them back tracking for one second. I often wonder when off roster guns will become off limits, even through a PPT.

Trump has said he will go after the unconstitutional state laws. I'll go ahead and hold my breath. He has been upholding his promises so far. It

Correct. And don't think otherwise. Spend some time reading the 2A forums here. Quite informative.

They knew what they were doing when they wrote this law.Basically an all out gun ban on semi autos.

When it goes to courts they are gonna say they never took away your 2nd amendment and that you can still own a firearm although the only choice will be a single action revolver or a bolt gun.

I am not optimistic that we will see the roster disappear any time soon. I truly hope I'm wrong and I will continue fight the fight.

No, not entirely; the closest I can see happening is the Microstamping portion gets tossed based on the fact that no manufacturer offers one (whether the patent-license is free or not, whether the technology is proven or not) and because it does not fit the definition of a "common" firearm if such a firearm is, well... not commonly found - at all.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

When the roster gets small enough, it will be ruled an unconstitutional de facto gun ban.

It will NEVER happen in California it will only continue to grow along with many more restrictions on firearms.
