It's easy enough to lock the bolt back and load an HK through the ejection port.

But the prices.. I guess one can still fish and dream

A Response to this forum thread

        (1) First of all, yes, the price for the collection may seem high for the average buyer, but it was not intended to be sold to an average buyer. The most likely candidate would be an affluent collector who is into guns and also may collect other things such as high end cars, watches, or expensive artwork. There may be a collector out there who just wants all of them where money is not the primary concern. This is rare, but not impossible.

        (2) The for sale post was just to get the word out. If someone wants it today, then they can buy it now. If someone 20 years from now wants to buy it, then they can by it then. Basically, there is no rush to sell the collection, and in the future, more unfired HKs may be added to the collection.

        (3) Many of the comments assume the guns are in California. The guns are "offered" to Californians who can legally purchase them. One needs to speak with their local FFL dealer about what is required for legal compliance. If modifications can be made for legal compliance, then we will be happy to work with you. California was only mentioned in the posting if the buyer has the means to legally own them. In addition, a Californian or corporation can apply for an AW permit or be a Class 3 dealer or manufacturer. The sale is offered nationwide and not just to Californians. One just needs to know the laws and what is legal to own in their State.

        I hope this clarifies things.
