Range bag..??

I am using a Home Depot "Husky" brand tool bag. Fits everything I need, has pouches inside that can hold something like 20 magazines, and is a solid product for not a lot of money.

Best thing i did was get an actual backpack (for pistols n stuff obviously). I use to have a duffle bag but the backpack makes traveling a lot easier.

I prefer the midway bag. It had 2 pistol bags in it as well as a center pouch that you can remove

I am thinking of backpack myself. I am sure there are lockable backpack out there.

Used to have one of the huge Midway bags, and carry tons of crap.

After doing that and half the time forgetting what I had in the bag, I streamlined the process. Got a small, very well made Blackhawk bag that cost about $30.00 and never looked back.

I'm not one to carry spare guns to matches, and my gun hasn't failed to the point where I couldn't get it back up and running, and since I only shoot local matches, match fees ($20.00) won't kill me if my gun goes tits-up and I have to go home.

Bag holds gun, ammo, mags, basic spare parts kit depending on the gun I'm shooting, chamber plugs for rifles and shotguns, baby wipes, mag brush, ear plugs, notebook, rulebooks, and basic tools. Not as much as it sounds like. I keep the rest of my gear (ear protection, brass bag, knee pads, eye protection, etc) clipped to the cart (yes I use a cart, cause who wants to carry a stupid bag when they can wheel it around on a cart that also holds your cooler with lunch and water, andd serves as a seat and umbrella stand).

If you don't shoot matches, the cart and all of its associated equipment is overkill.

I use a Jansport backpack. Can lock the two zippers together.

It has a large zipper across the top. You can lock that, which I do. It opens up very wide. I can put a bunch of mags, Snap-Safe with my 1911 in it, muffs, assorted tools/stuff, and about 800 rounds of ammo in it. Pretty cool bag for $20. I have another smaller bag that I put all my cleaning gear in.

Lol, no joke their bags are extremely robust and offer far more protection than any range bag for way less money.

They even make a line of bags for people who pefer to roll their crap around.
