Heavy duty zippers and plenty of pockets for all sorts of things. Hard bottom and built like a tank. The many things you can carry in this bag. Let's just say I'm practically setup to fix most if all problems with my pistols and rifles if I needed to. I have it to where I'm able to carry 3 pistols and plenty of magazines, also have my leupold compact spotting scope (15-30x50mm). Plus all other accessories for a range trip.

I prefer the midway bag. It had 2 pistol bags in it as well as a center pouch that you can remove

I have a voodoo bag. Can be used as a backpack. I stuffed two ar10s a mossberg 500. Bore snakes. Lube. Bunch of magazines and ammo. Never ripped very good duality.

Holds 4 handguns, plenty of mags, pockets for tools, stapler, tape, ears, eyes, muffs, AND a few hundred rounds of ammo for each gun....
I keep two pairs of muffs in the top with the ammo.

This is what I got a few years ago and it works fantastic. The only down side is I got the Mondo size and when I load it up it is a back-breaker to haul out to the truck and from the truck up the ramp to the range.

BUT, it has pockets for everything and a small removable bag for empty brass, very handy. But 4-5 handguns and several hundred rounds of ammo + tools and all kinds of brik-a-brak gets danged heavy.

Did you search? This question comes up at least once a month. Much has been written on it and doubtful there's anything new. The Midway bag is ALWAYS the value play, especially if you can catch it on sale. It's a knockoff of the Shooters Connection Pro bag which is a tank if you need a really good one.

Does it have lockable compartments?

When I was looking for a range bag, I was disappointed at all the bags that didn't have lockable compartments and often, when they did, the manufacturer had their name or logo all over the bag. Then I found what I was looking for:

Well made, lots of storage space, all the exterior openings are lockable, and the small sewn on patch on the side is easily removed.
