    Those are definitely unsafe!

          Alledgedly:

          • A new tougher finish
          • Changes in the rifling
          • Longer recoil spring assembly
          • Reinforced forward notch for the recoil spring assembly
          • A smoother trigger similar to the G42/43
          • Flared magwell
          • No finger grooved
          • Changes in the safety plunger
          • Ambidextrous slide release
          • Magazines may have an extended front lip
          • Magazine well cutout

M for military. Probably made for that new military contract but they lost to Sig. I'd think a Gen 5 would say that on the slide.

Wish they would change the front rail to picatinny

hopefully this means prices of Gen4 in CA would go down (yeah, I can wish, right?)

And sadly us poor Californians won't be able to get one.

Might have to sell off all my Gen 4s to get rid of the darn finger grooves.

The only significant difference will be unavailability and exorbitant prices.
                          G19 gen 3 $500
                          G19 gen 4 $800
                          G19 gen 5 $1200

And in all cases, you are paying way too much for about $150 bucks worth of a gun.
