It shouldn't have ever gotten this far, but it did. We're now in the position where we need the Supreme Court to end the infringement. Like it or not, that's the reality we're dealing with. And until ALL gun owners stop running, stop hiding, and stand up and be seen and heard anywhere and everywhere, that's the reality we'll continue to deal with going forward.

people have the wrong idea of what the 2A says.
Here is what the 2A says in modern English;
A properly trained and equipped, non-professional soldier, ensures the safety and security of the common good, because of this, the government cannot inhibit the ownership and use of firearms by its citizens.
How this court believes the 2ndA is not about AWs is beyond me. The 2A was written to ensure civilians had AWs.
Registration is permitted under the 2A. Registration is not infringement. It also could be a requirement of the 2A as written.Last edited by dieselpower; 02-26-2017, 3:18 PM.Comment

I am so sick of people claiming that any loss of freedom/rights is, "good for us," or, "winning."
It is not. Believe me. This should never have ever gotten this far. The people should have stood up a long time ago at the first sign of this and put their government back in its place.
It only matters if you choose, actively or passively, to abide by whatever laws they put into place on a daily basis. Each of us has chosen to give up our rights. Each of us has chosen that life is of greater value than our rights from birth. Each of us has chosen that a reduced freedom outside of a government retention facility is of greater value than our rights from birth. All of us have chosen to allow our rights from birth to be controlled by others. All of us have chosen to allow the fate of our rights from birth to be decided by corruptible, flawable peers, people that equal to us, not above us.
We are the ones with the firearms….. so ironic.
We aren’t wining. I really wish people would stop saying that we are. If all of us collectively decided that we had enough and that our rights from birth weren’t negotiable and worth more than life itself…. That would be unstoppable and winning. That is what our forefathers did. They had everything to lose. Some of them paid the ultimate price and would be absolutely disgusted and sickened if they saw us just give it all away.
Dude I say this with the upmost respect as you clearly have passion about our rights but . . . Who are you kidding? Seriously!
I see threads like this all the time here on Calguns. "Rise up". "We have all the guns" "our fore fathers would be sickened at what we let happen".
Dude Most of the 200,000 members here are range operators with little or no formal military training. Many have never point a gun at another human being let alone taken a life. Most here have 8-5 jobs with everything to lose. Many here have two or three guns to their name. Most have to buy ammo just to go to the range. I would bet 1/2 of the members here don't even vote!
You come and make a BOLD statement like that yet what are you willing to do? Are you going to lead us? Are you going to give your life in an order to secure our 2a rights? I bet not! Don't' get mad as neither am I.
Securing our 2a rights will be done at the voters box without a round being loaded. To think otherwise is just internet puffery! Rise up? Rise up against who? Are you going to take aim at a fellow young Army or Marine? Are you going to fire a shot at another member's son or daughter serving the military? I think not, nor am I.
When you make comments like rise up I ask you to think about "who" you are rising up against. It's not like Feinstein or Pillosi or Newsome, or Brown, or any legislator is going to o the other side of a battle field. It's going to be the sons and daughters of Fellow Gunners.
You are comparing our founding fathers breaking free from British Control to killing fellow Americans to defend our rights.
So please, please, while I can appreciate the passion, use that passion to rally your fellow gunners to vote, to affect change, to support those in power who support us, and remove the ones who do not.
Do that my friend and I will follow you to the end!Last edited by calif 15-22; 02-26-2017, 4:41 PM.Originally posted by Citadelgrad87It's one thing to question everything . . .
