    Never register.

So let me get this straight. You have never bought a firearm at a dealer?

Hopefully that trump executive orde does some good but I'm worried about the ability to hand down those so called assault weapons. I still think that term sounds dumb, like calling a knife a assault knife but I have multiple pistols registered and rifles already and the government has a over reach on everything we own or purchase that until we say no and dont comply, we'll keep going down this road.

can you explain how not registering a firearm, identified as an AW, somehow stops you from getting arrested for not registering said AW?

you make as much sense as the courts ruling.

court says, the 2A which gives people the right to own firearms for the sole purpose of killing threats doesnt mean firearms that look like firearms used in war...???

you say, my AW is not an AW because I didnt tell the government about owning the AW so when I use the AW to kill a person trying to kill me, I will not get arrested because I didnt tell them I owned an AW when they ruled I had to...???

so does this apply to all crimes? Can I rob a bank and just not tell the government it was me, and therefore when I get arrested I cant be found guilty because I never told anyone it was me?

and finally, how can I get these drugs you are on? it seems your reality is a fun place to live.

"A well armed militia" seems to be forgotten in many of the court decisions (or argued to exclude private ownership). A militia is an Army. An Army uses weapons of war by definition. NFA and the 1968 Federal Act are the only possible valid infringements of a Constitutional 2A right. States right's are what the Confederate States argued. That didn't turn out so well for them.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, you're doing it all wrong.

So what war was fought with semi-auto AR15s?

What army fields them.. just curious..

And this is why our Judicial branch has become just an extension of political parties and not a defender of the law and constitution.

They need a SCOTUS biatch slap..

It think there were saying it would be better to use workarounds like Featureless.. and to lawfully resist registering..

Who said anything about breaking the law here? One can easily configure their rifle to be featureless or have a fixed magazine. Or, they could move it out of state. These avoid registration.

At the time the Second Amendment was created, all guns were the same. Armies of the world used the exact same rifles and pistols as civilians. So in effect, they're saying our founding fathers were wrong and the 2nd Amendment doesn't exist. And if the 2nd doesn't exist, by extension, the Bill of Rights doesn't exist. With this decision, they've neutralized the Constitution, which has been their ultimate goal all along.

It's time to start throwing judges off the bench for violating their oath.

"I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!" - Senator Barry Goldwater

Exactly. They don't even understand the weapons they're ruling on.

But this is actually good news for us. We need cases like this to get to the U.S. Supreme Court, as the Supreme Court's decisions will apply directly to California as well. We need Gorsuch confirmed and then just one more and we'll be in business. For gun owners, this is why a Trump victory over Clinton was so important. Why so many third party voters couldn't see this is beyond me.

I am so sick of people claiming that any loss of freedom/rights is, "good for us," or, "winning."

It is not. Believe me. This should never have ever gotten this far. The people should have stood up a long time ago at the first sign of this and put their government back in its place.

Look, it is like not doing anything the first time your spouse abuses you. Sure, it might be months or even years before it happens again, but it will. And each time there will be less time in between. Pretty soon you will be living in constant fear and control. Others will start to see the danger you are in, but unless you, and only you, do something about it, there is nothing that can be done.

I don't think this case will go to the supreme court. I don't think any 2A cases will go to the supreme court in the next 20 years.

Even if it does, it technically doesn't matter. The right is inalienable from birth. No one can take it from you, restore it to you or give it to you.

It only matters if you choose, actively or passively, to abide by whatever laws they put into place on a daily basis. Each of us has chosen to give up our rights. Each of us has chosen that life is of greater value than our rights from birth. Each of us has chosen that a reduced freedom outside of a government retention facility is of greater value than our rights from birth. All of us have chosen to allow our rights from birth to be controlled by others. All of us have chosen to allow the fate of our rights from birth to be decided by corruptible, flawable peers, people that equal to us, not above us.

We are the ones with the firearms….. so ironic.

We aren’t wining. I really wish people would stop saying that we are. If all of us collectively decided that we had enough and that our rights from birth weren’t negotiable and worth more than life itself…. That would be unstoppable and winning. That is what our forefathers did. They had everything to lose. Some of them paid the ultimate price and would be absolutely disgusted and sickened if they saw us just give it all away.
