Why stop at $300? Why not make it $3,000? Or $10,000?

The Bill of Rights lists specific prohibitions on governmental power over our natual, human rights that pre exist and supercede government. Government charging us to excercise our natural and inalienable rights is about as backward as we can get.

Keep in mind that Gov Malloy is a foaming-at-the-mouth anti-gun zealot. This should not be surprising. I am amazed that our state overlords here in CA haven't done the same.

Just wait until the SCOTUS rules in our favor (eventually). They'll just say the cost of processing all the new apps is putting undue strain on manpower resources and will up the cost exponentially to "cover" those costs. Hell, we'll probably end up funding the entire train to nowhere with those fees alone.

It can be twice that in CA. I know people who had to pay friends of the CLEO nearly $700 for "training" and spend more on other nonprofessional stuff just to get a LTC.

Infringement I guess doesnt include poor people, you can infringe on their rights simply because they cant afford to fight back.

and in a way, a civil war. the south was not just fighting to keep slavery, they were fighting because their industry was under attack from parts of the Nation that utilized their industry but didnt want to pay more for that.

I'll put it into CA terms, CA passes the following laws;
1- Minimum wage is $15 per hour.
2- To work in CA you must be a legal resident.
3- You can only charge 25 cents an hour for lawn care service.

Now which of these 3 Laws does CA violate in order to get cheap lawn care? Sure law #3 doesnt exist, but if it did you better believe there would be outrage. Especially when people started enforcing rule #2.

So when the Buyer of the Souths service started making laws which made it impossible to provide that service at a profit, there was push back, which turned into a war.
