I often use a small pelican

    Inside:

1 16" LMT MRP (upper placed diagonally, lower on the far right longways "vertically")
    1 helmet with PVS14
    1 pair crye pants
    1 pair arcteryx top
1 pair fresh socks (muy importante)
1 plate carrier with all medical and 6 pmags
    Ammo can with around 800 m193 5.56
    Etc

Occasionally throw the wilson and "battle belt" in it. Thats a more tham sufficient case loadout for a days/nights shooting

I also bring an Eberlestock mini-me seperate with 2 liters of water in a Source bladder for hydration

Prett small case and very discreet

Its a pretty small box, and my walk from my door to the car is relatively short. I carry with the handle/latches toward the inside, however Everyones mileage will vary, but it is far less noticeable than my 42+" pelicans. For ultimate discretion, it fits in the lower 4/7 of a regular looking suitcase if i plan on roadtripping amd want to take more clothes and ammo

        Regardless, thanks

This one might be too tactical looking, but I like a bag with a strap that could also be used for general packing if needed. Pricey at $99 but 5.11 makes great stuff.

I like that as well . . . And 1/2 the price of 5.11. I may have to get one of these and ch ck it out.

Resist getting black. Get red or blue. Anti-tacticool look.

I have the Emdom TNT bag also. It's a very good discreet bag.

Outside of the http://www.emdomusa.com/Emdom-MM-TNT...ag-p/eu134.htm bag, the fact that we can no longer have the adjustable stock to collapse, will any of the other cases fit with a full length buttstock. I realize the upper and lower would have to be separated.

Question for you that have the Emdom bag. Do you have the smaller one or the extended bag?
                          Thanks.

I've got the standard/smaller bag. It's a relatively tight fit for my 14.5" upper, but it does fit. Haven't tried it with a 16".
