Didn't get any shooting done in AZ. Audiophil emailed me day before and gave me a heads up about some car trouble. Hope he got that repaired.
Visited a lot of tourist sights. I did make a stop at Bruno shooting supply. They were selling 8lb of varget for $199. Same or close to pricing as Phillips and possibly OC reloading.
Then headed into Las Vegas and visited Hoover dam. We went to an indoor shooting range,. All I wanted was to try a suppressed handgun.Only suppressed gun worth trying was a Mark 23 with osprey suppressor. I don't know if the Silencerco osprey supressor matter of it was over clocked by approx 20*.Shot were low and left. Confirmed with my other 2 buddies. Wished they would sight their weapons as part of maintenance.
Shooting suppressed indoor was bleh. Would have been much better out door.
The Mark 23 is very soft shooting. It's like shooting my G19. Maybe the supressor has something to do with or the dual recoil spring assembly and heavy slide?
After we were done shooting the Mark 23. I was in the back and cringed when the RSO just tossed the gun in the binlike a rag doll.
