AZfirearms in Avondale is the most interesting shop in the area. Cabelas is nice if you never been to one.

All the other shops including SCG are boring.

You can take 10 to 303 to 17 which would bypass a lot of traffic. Even 10 to 101 to 17 would be better than 10 to 17. 101 would get you over to SGC and USautoweapons if oyu wanted to waste time going to those places. They are ok for a first time visit but AZfirearms is much better and once you go there the others are a let down.

I offer suppressor and machine gun rentals. My prices are the best in the country for what you are getting. I have 10 acres not far from your route to Sedona. Drive time would add about 2 hours because it is more toward the west side of Phoenix closer to Wittman. I could also meet with you at an indoor range along your route to sedona. It is in Peoria near Cabelas or we can go to Ben Avery which is on the way to 17. My private range is going to be a lot more fun though. It could add anywhere from 2-8 hours depending on how much fun you want to have. Shooting suppressors at a public range is fruitless. I took my sons .22 Savage with a Spectre II can on it to sight in at Ben Avery. The guy next to me was shooting a 7mm. My Savage can be shot in a bathroom. It is supressed so well the only thing you hear is the click of the trigger so it was annoying trying to zero it with double ear pro on. Most suppressors still require ear pro but I have .22 and .45 cans with good subsonic ammo that does not require anything. It is great for hearing the plates get hit.

If you want to see what I do on my range check out this thread. I can guarantee you will not be bored shooting with me. Most people talk about the fun they had with me for years. My only warning is you will not want to go to public ranges after this.

Tombstone Tactical is right on I-17. They're also a Class III dealer.

Stayed overnight in Buckeye. As i stepped outside to grab some breakfast. I'm on second floor, looked down and saw a person open carrying. Wished CA was a little more relax and firearm in general.

Dang. I was at my dads last weekend in AZ. He's got a massive full auto collection, better then most rental places.. Woulda said bring some ammo and stop by and shoot.

                    My shoulder is still sore.

Don't forget the tracers and tannerite. Both are great at night.
