He was telling the other guy that he can order them online and it's legal... he's telling his friend to commit a felony. What an idiot! I just shook my head and left

B- Turning said solvent trap into a suppressor is perfectly legal if you are in a state which allows suppressors and you have filed your Form1 and received your stamp back

D- your spreading FUD. For all you know that was me- I live in TN but am in CA atm- telling my buddy from CO about a project I have coming up. Although it was not me, because I do not go to gun stores in Commifornia and my next suppressor is probably going to be a Thunderbeast Ultra-7 in .30cal.

The odds of this are literally infinitesimal... its a 99% chance that these were two morons from california who havent read a damn thing about the laws and are about to commit a felony. Its a 1% chance that its a guy, from somewhere out of the state, meeting his buddy, who is also from out of state, at a gunshop in california on a wednesday, and happening to discuss a pet project. We can play "what if's" all day long, but at the end of the day, the people OP was talking about are jackashes

OP,you had the perfect chance to let them know about calguns, you didn't.
On several occasions I have heard people talking that obviously were mistaken about a gun law or misinformation about guns. I carry cards with calguns info and hand them out.
