Hello Calguns.
We are in need of some advice on obtaining possession of some Guns back from the Police,here's the scoop.
My son in laws brother was arrested a few months ago for spousal dispute, when they arrested him they confiscated his guns, he got a lawyer, the case was set then on the day of court the case was dropped, no charges were filed not enough evidence, they split up she moved out. HOW CAN HE GET HIS GUNS BACK.
Will he need a lawyer?

Do you/he have the guns? No? I'd say get a lawyer as well.

A lawyer can properly direct him. It would likely be smart to pursue a Finding of Factual Innocence since the arrest and charges will remain on his record.

Also, if this was not a GF, but a wife, he is going to need a lawyer anyways.

Thank you All for the Advise. We we're told to look up 2 Lawyer's since we are in So, Calif. They we're Michel and Associates in Long beach And Davis and Associates in Arcadia Calif. Great to know and find out Davis grew up with the Brothers and Played ball together and was a cop. ( policeman ). He will be calling him ASAP.
