True. I experimented using One Shot for a bit but i switched back to Ballistol once my One Shot treated reloading dies started rusting on me after only a couple uses. Not impressed tbh. It's still a solid product and i enjoyed the benefits but like others said it's pretty expensive.

Oh, I know. Part of the reason why I'm getting rid of it. It wasn't cleaning like everyone touted it cleaned like. It gummed up my 1911 like no other. I only use it on my loosey goosey guns like my Glocks, HKs, ARs, and any general purpose lubricant.Comment

I fell for the frog lube hype. PITA to take off too.
Now i'm using Mpro7. Are there better lubes? maybe,probably..? Are there worse? most definitely!
I run it in any course I take, shot thousands of rounds - not at once (Regular maintenance in between)no problems so far.
I'm sure it will get me through the "5 minutes" or so (if that) that I will need if things ever got real for me. Go with whatever works and gives you confidence.
Dry lube spray? i would need to really test it. To take a blind leap of faith like that, well, i did fall for the froglube.

I've always had good luck with the Mpro7 stuff too, no complaints. I mostly decided to switch to Hornady when I got tired of all my gun grips being oily, and when my 2-year-old Winchester 70 started to show signs of surface rust, which may or may not be attributed to the Mpro7 not working, but I decided I didn't want to give it a second chance. Otherwise, it always worked well for me.Comment

Remington makes a dry lube spray... Spray it on and it quickly drys... It is a lube only not a cleaner... I have tried it on action rails in shotguns and rifles.. I was never sure it got under the rails so I stopped using it... Never tried it on pistols.. Rem spray oil and Rig gun grease about all I use anymore ... Cheers...Comment
