Basic human nature. It's like when I know how to do something, then everybody else should too, and if they don't then they must be stupid/lazy/Hillary voters. If it's something I don't know how to do, then obviously it's an advanced skill and nobody should be expected to know how.
Another term for "mall ninja" would be "all hat, no cowboy", i.e. you have all the gear but don't know how to use it.
To me "kill house" is somewhere you go to do your killing. Using that term to describe some range set-up to practice shooting indoors is a bit mall ninja.
+1 on the apt word, I'm definitely going to put omarsalah78's "chasing the aesthetic" in my style book.I meant, it is my opinion that...

I do believe that where there is a choice only between cowardice and violence
I would advise violence. - M. Gandhi

Wait, why does everyone diss on 5.11 pants? Those are damn comfy pants! The cargos are the best for shooting, desert trips and just everyday wear. If you are a cargo shorts guy like myself that's the best deal. Now I wear jeans to work and slacks on dates but I also have my flash light, knife, phone, keys and wallet on me at all times. That doesn't make me tactical but I'm minimally prepared. If I could I'd have a CCW as well but I live in San Diego so you all know our pain. The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!Comment

Mall Ninja - Noun. Origin of word: Gun ForumsDoes it go from "mall ninja" to "Prepared to embrace the second amendment for what it is and be able to protect those you love including your country". Because i see alot of ****talking about the "tactical" training side of things, yet alot of the same people say "i only need to shoot 1" groups from a bench at 100 yards" yet carry a gun to defend their family and profess to protect their country though the same means. The entire thing confuses me. Do tell.
Definition - Someone who has read everything there is to read on AR/AKs, down to the pressures required to cycle a round. Has a spreadsheet with all his online orders of the latest gear. Has them all bolted to a rifle that cost more than the car they drive. Can and will tell you, why your factory build is inferior to their home build and why Daniel Defense, LMT, Noveske, Colt, and others do not know how to build a reliable rifle.
Tactical Operator - Noun. Origin of word : Gun Forums
Definition - Someone who has spends 2-4 weekends a month in classes taught by someone who spends every week teaching classes. Tells you in threads you should NOT BUY A FIREARM if you haven't taken John "Bad Arse" Johnson's "house clearing course". Thinks a Baseball Bat is what you need if you haven't been trained. Can shoot laying on his back, off handed, cross bodied, with dirt in his good eye 1/2 moa at 100yrds with the wind blowing. Can shoot tight groups upside down while on the move. Says weapon lights are for Newbies, and will quote people on the internet who support his position. Has a beard but not a girlfriend or wife.
I am neither a Mall Ninja nor a Tactical Operator but am willing and able to defend my family against anyone who tries to do them harm!

OK Got it! Noveske fan boys are Mall Ninja material. Its mall ninja when all you talk about is tactical this and tactical that. Dismiss anything that doesnt agree with you or isnt on your "level." belittle others for not training with this top instructor or took this specific class.
I think most people talk crap at the arrogance of the "tactical" leaning shooters because they come across as arrogant know it alls.
Dont get me wrong i understand some peoples need to train as hard and as deep as possible without actually having to go to war. Being over prepared is not a bad thing.
Just some of you "tactical" guys gotta lower your egos a bit...that **** gets annoying sometimes...
With that said, if you are a tactical leaning shooter then by all means go for it. It definetely will not hurt your preparedness. Tactical training definitely has a purpose. Just remember not everyone thinks the same on what sufficient training is sufficient enough...
Jmho...

I have only heard such a place called a "shoot house." I have had the opportunity to do some simunitions scenarios with the national guard at camp SLO. They have a cool shoot house in a warehouse with catwalks above for the instructors.
The term Kill house sounds like a cabin in the woods where serial killers drive their white astro van. They then keep the tied up college girl there until they make a suit out their skin.Emotional appeal is a marketing tactic and not a foundation for effective argument.
