PSA interpeting CA law?

They refused to ship a stripped lower designed for Glock mags because "there is no bullet button device available for the dedicated 9mm lowers"
That was in early December last year, now it looks like they may not be shipping uppers as they've delayed shipping an assembled upper I ordered 2 weeks ago.
Anyone one else having trouble?

They're most likely just swamped due to overwhelming demand.

You're right. Their interpretation of the CA law is the reason for their policy, and have not acknowledged the existence and legality of featureless rifles.

They advise us to know our state laws, but impose their misunderstanding of those laws on us through their policy.

I hope they eventually change their minds. I want one of those lowers too, but my New Frontier Armory 9mm glock lower will have to do for now, which was shipped the same way the PSA lowers are with the mag assembly installed. I think their bullet button may work for the PSA too...

I have two orders in with them right now.
I'll consider myself lucky if I see them by the end of next month.

PSA canceled my order for ammo because of new CA laws just because my billing address is in Los Angeles (shipping address not in LA). They have shipped orders multiple times in the past, they only recently changed their policy. The new laws are not even in effect yet. I would not doubt that they would cancel your order.

I ordered a lower build kit from them 2 weeks ago and just got a tracking number today. I don't think it's supposed to come with a bullet button.

Hmmmm, I placed an order for the Glock lower in October last year and they cancelled it. I do have a Glock lower with bullet button built as a pistol though.

That happened to me in December with a KS47 lower I ordred from them.

I got the dreaded "Compliance Department" email saying that because the KS47 couldn't accept a "standard bullet button" they wouldn't ship and they were cancelling the order.

I ended up using a middleman FFL and got my lower just under the wire on 12/31.

I also ordered a complete KS47 upper/lower parts kit from them. That took about 2 weeks to arrive, but that's SOP with PSA. They're order processing/shipping is slow. But their sale prices are so good, IMHO it's worth the wait

CTD has been doing for years before these laws.
