I also have a top loading %100 legal lower. Bottom of the magwell is sealed shut with a 10 rounder in it. Gonna possible turn it into an spr for longer range. Maybe.

Its actually worth less then what you paid 15 years ago, because with the addition of a $20 part, all AR15s can be legally top loaded. Not sure why you think yours is special?

From what I remember it doesn't have a metal insert for the serial # or info right? just plastic right?
I remember checking one out the same time I think the first su16 was new it was so long ago..

Those Bushmasters with the sealed mag well are perfect for adding a bolt action upper chambered in a large caliber like 416 Barrett or 408 Cheytac.

Well yeah. It's gonna be my longer barreled shooter for slower shooting. Debating an 18" or 20" barrel for it.
