Turner's is closed today. I'm guessing their reason for closing has less to do with the New Year's Holiday than it does with them not wanting to deal with the backlash of those foolish souls that did not get to pick up their MSR yesterday because the store closed at 5:00 and/or the DOJ website was down. can't say I blame Turner's. Tomorrow would be a good day to show up at the time they open to witness the histarics unfold. I am leaving town tomorrow or I'd go and watch. Should be good with all of those who did not get their MSR demanding a refund!

Makes me wonder if this is a good cause argument against the 10 day waiting period and the determination that the gun is not your property until after the wait
I think CDOJ screwed up making the 21st the last day to purchase. They should've made it the 31st and allow time to pick up later. I see a group of spoiled children bringing this suite on. They might be useful idiots after all
      We can only hope.

That's like laughing at car accident victims. Hahaha, why did you speed, your fault for following too close, you shoulda looked, etc. No one wanted to get into this pickle, but we all have made mistakes too. I feel bad for most of them.

I'm guessing their reason for closing today has more to do with the fact that they've been closed EVERY NEW YEARS DAY FOR THE LAST 45 YEARS!

You are correct, however, it seems that there is an extra emphasis on being closed today for most, if not all, gun stores so they don't need to deal with the fallout from those who missed the boat on MSR!

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.

but if it IS the DOJ website/system that can't work at a high-capacity, it should be that system we are looking to change/blame,
                        not the last minute folks
(who are clearly having their inalienable rights infringed upon).
No, if you waited until the last day to buy (December 21) or pick up (December 31), it is 99.9% your fault.

You can do "what-if" scenarios all-day, but at the end it is your fault for pushing it.

Waiting until the last minute. SMH. I didn't even have any interest in guns until my brother mentioned the AR15 ban. My brother has been trying to get me into firearms for years. Bought my AR in Sept for my birthday because why the hell not. Actually turns out I enjoy shooting. lol

Or age; I've noticed a lot of really young lookin' dudes who may have just turned 18 recently or it takes a little more for them to get those finances - and/or a combination of both.
