Got an AR before the deadline (phew..) and now shopping for a case.
In all the stock photos of cases I notice the rifles are oriented inside the case such that the top of the rifle (often with an optic) is toward the hinges of the case. So if you carry the case by the handle the rifle is upside down in the case.
Is this common?
Is this bad for the optic?
Or am I overthinking this...
