Plastic Cultery and Gun accessories in luggage on flight

    Hi guys,

I wonder if I can put one box of plastic fork/spoon/knife in a flight check-in luggage.

Also, I have a flash light which basically is a combination of handgun tactical light + one portion of picatinny rail + a spare vertical grip. Is it legal to put it in the check-in luggage as disassembled parts?

    Thank you for any inputs!

Buy the cutlery when you get to your destination. Put the flashlight in your carry on or it might get ripped off.

Both are ok for checked baggage. TSA may or may not notice plastic cutlery in a carry on but it's not worth the effort to find out. The advice about putting the flashlight in your carry on is solid, things do disappear from checked bags from time to time.

Skip the carry-on's and wear a bath robe. When you go through inspections, just give them a peek. That's the quickest way through.
