That's funny I heard the same thing today at the LGS about the serial numbers , they quoted that same CFR 27 mentioned earlier . They also told me that I'm only allowed to build one gun a year, they said that they've been advising their customers buying 80% that your only allowed to build one a year... KW defense in Stockton... they were giving me that 'your a jerk' attitude after I stopped laughing at them for a couple minutes..

typical for a GS because they need to stay far away from the line drawn in the sand.Store claims
1. Once you release the mag from a bullet gun it's an AW. Drosed two guns in that configuration anyway. wrong, the gun lacks the capacity to accept a detachable magazine even without a magazine.
2. ATF says even 80% guns are required to have serial numbers since 1968. Correct all home made guns which are manufactured for sale must be serialized. and that also means you must have a license to do that.
3. High cap mags cannot be blocked to 10 round and be legal in the new year. correct high cap magazines are illegal, magazine which are manufactured to hold 10 or less are legal. before you freak out, please read that several times.
4. A yugo 59/66 cannot be drosed without the stock because it's an AW. I think this is correct because the the SKS is less than 30 inches without a stock
My response was hmmm.
there are GS around me who still say BBs, Fin grips and the MMG are illegal and so are all AR15 type riflers because the law says AR15 series rifles are AWs.Comment

I see what u did there. On number 4 though they claimed it was because it could accept a detachable mag and an ska cannot. My aguement is that it's a barreled receiver and also not an sks.Comment
