Yes, I used the Defender plate carrier for almost exactly a year and during that time, I've only had 2 issues with it. The stitching was crap and the Velcro was crap, too. I wouldn't recommend it for daily use for work. I upgraded to a BAE Systems RBAV plate carrier and it's been great. I recommend spending a little for getting a good product.

Condor is fine for casual use. Ive been using one, daily, for about 18 months now. Its holding together for the most part. The velcro is not very strong, especially on the mag pouches. The elastic on the cumberbund wore out about 6 months ago. I had to tie it together using the last set of molle loops and some paracord. My front plate is starting to tear through the carrier on the top left corner. Ill probably get another 6 months out of it before i buy something better. Overall, i feel like i got my moneys worth out of it. Like i said, this is with daily use. Somone who is just using it for the occasional training class/bump in the night would be just fine with it for many years.

Targetman is good ****. I have two of their sets of plates (got one for he ex wife and kept it in he divorce). That price is great but I can't tell on my phone if that's the same kind of plates that I got.
