I have never worried about it. I have had delivers of 23800 rounds of rifle/pistol ammo and lesser amounts. Recently there was 12000 of mixed pistol rounds. I have had large/heavies of bullets like 5000 rounds of 50BMG 700gr AP bullets at one time as well as large orders of powder/primers.

Unless you are getting pallets of it I would not be concerned. If you are getting pallets I want to be your friend and you still have nothing to worry about unless it is long belts of ammo.

They know more about me than I know about me.

They were friendly a few years ago, but lately they are all business.
One vendor (Vizards) had the best price but required a signature.
When the UPS driver rang the bell, I immediately got up and went to the front door.
When I got there the driver was getting ready to drive away .....
I had to ask him to deliver my shipment which he did reluctantly.
I asked him how long he is required to wait for someone to answer the door. and he said there was no time requirement.
Maybe this driver was on the rag or something.
I almost never have interactions with the drivers as I always request "Signature NOT required. Thank you'
Next time I order from Vizards I'll put a large note on the door saying I am home, please allow me at least 30 seconds to get to the door.

This is what happened to Me....
I ordered 3400.00 in ammo through 4 different places...
UPS left me a Notice that I need to schedule a pick up of one of my packages at my local UPS office due to weight of Order.

UPS freight just delivered 25,000 total rounds of 5.56 and 9mm to my house on a pallet. They knew it was ammunition. Didn't care.

Driver said he's delivered far bigger ammo orders than that.

another incident was one time i wasn't home to sign for the package, instead of leaving a notice, he went to my neighbor asking if they'll sign for it and give it to me when i get home. i never request my neighbor can sign the driver assume we (neighbor and I) are buddy buddy. i was so mad, and my neighbor now knows where i ordered from.

obviously they get pay based on per delivery made.

information and privacy is a major concern these days as you never know who will use those info back at you.

i hope you guys don't give your SS# (optional) when DROSing

Theyre probably busy with their route and probably couldnt care less. All they care about is finishing the route in a timely manner

This one ^^^ I'm a Fed Ex ground driver and we absolutely don't care what you order. Right now we are so busy and overwhelmed that we are lucky if we get to pee in a cup. Your fine stop worrying! By the way I've been delivering TONS and I mean TONS OF AMMO to homes and offices..

I had 500 rounds of 223 dropped off to me today. My drivers, UPS, Fedex and USPS ALL ring my door bell and leave the package on the door step when signature is not required.

My UPS driver delivered 20k 9mm Xtreme bullets to me yesterday. He brought them up to my porch with a hand truck and asked, "So you going to get some more" with a wink, I think he might be a gun guy. I think it was a few hundred pounds. I love buying bullets.

My USPS carrier just delivered two flat rate boxes with 2500 9mm bullets each. I haven't talked to her since she dropped them off today but, I'm sure she wasn't too happy. At least our mailbox is strong enough to support the weight.

I used to deliver fresh ammo for all of the boats at the Subase. I guess they have to swap it out before each patrol.

I had a box of inert material for EODTEU1 break open back when security was still checking each truck.... dude looks at sticks of Nobel rolling around back there. Seemed okay with it.
