Triple B Sporting Clays rant

I've already posted a bad yelp from 3 years ago when we had our first bad run in with them. You can only write one bad review on yelp per business.

One of the girls who bought the group-on said she left a negative yelp review today since they spent double what they originally paid for and got half of what the young paid for.

Well that surely sucks. Perhaps posting on other shotgun related forums of your experience would help get the word out. Based on my own previous experience I place a lot of faith in what I read here and with time and money being what the are, I would error on the side of caution and as an example Oak Tree will never see another penny from me as well as Tripple B's I will never try.

i will never go to triple B's based upon my current clay buddy that i goto prado with.

he use to go but got tired of all the snobby/elitist attitude from the customers on the trap field.

if you aren't shooting a $5,000 over/under, and in their cadence then you get asked to not shoot with them or to move to a different field. and god help you if you are using a semi-auto that doesn't have a shell deflector.

glad my first experience was at prado. or else i probably would have hated trap shooting.

Yea I too enjoy the crowd and staff at prado a lot.

I have also heard that about the trap and regular groups that are at Trip B. I haven't experienced that my self but I have heard about the same as you mentioned about their attitudes.

Prado is no doubt my go to for trap and 5 stand for VERY good reason.

I've been planning to go there through the Socal clinic. Won't be going there on my own. Sounds hostile to newbs.

it is more like triple b's seem to be visited by the old gun owners that hate on modern sporting rifle owners, and would gladly vote for any restrictions on them cause "it doesn't affect them" and "who needs 30 rounds to hunt"

Sounds like you had a bad experience with some of their patrons. Of course Calguns is a microcosm of CA gun owners, but the old timers on here at least, seem to be ardent 2A supporters, not like a liberal gun owners you're describing.

Yea I've heard good things about the clinic.

Like I said their facility is nice. But their pro shop females are horrid. Typical LGS attitude that because they work at a range they know all because they know people.

Like I said the lady with the attitude was giving us sht about mounting the gun as she's literally looking down the barrel and shoving her thumb down the barrel.

Should explain the type and logic of the shop staff.

It wasn't my experience.

My buddy who i shoot trap with at Prado had that experience. He can shoot with the best of them, but he got tired of their elitist attitudes so he switched over to prado.

I also had a less than plesent experience at triple b's, so chose to take my business elsewhere.
