If I had any 30rd 5.56mm magazines, I'd just say they were actually .50Beo mags....I just hadn't gotten that upper yet.

Edit: For the record, I do not have any 30rd magazines as I started my gun obsession in CA after they banned 30rd mags the first time.

How would that work? Shorten the spring, add a block and epoxy.

Or just destroy, surrender and purchase 10 rounders.

Is installing blocks that can be removed "permanent"...?

There is an argument that mag blocks, epoxied or not, are more permanent than other 'permanent' solutions like rivets.

You can't unblock a mag without disassembling it first, meaning you can't make a large capacity magazine from it without reassembling it as a large capacity magazine. You can't go from 10 round -> 11+ rounder directly.

Is the same thing true for a magazine that is only limited by a rivet that keeps the follower from traveling further down the mag body (whether or not it has been 'permanently' glued shut)?
