Didn't you know that all rifles and handguns can shoot all by themselves? They really don't even need someone to hold them. They just go off. Although without the support of a human, their accuracy suffers due to the recoil.

Lol it's a TV show based off a fictional comic book. If the real life idiotic news and real life idiot Newsom and Deleon get real life gun facts wrong, I wouldn't hold much sway on a fictional comic book like the Walking dead.

Well here's the thing. Shows and movie crews hire firearm consultants in some capacity. So what that means is either the production company cheaped out or the crew just doesn't care. Probably both.
