CA considers a change of manufacturing location (or manufacturing process) to mean it's an all-new gun.
All-new guns require MDS, LCI and microstamping to be approved for the Roster.
Nobody can microstamp so there will never be all-new guns again in CA unless the Roster is overturned.

Not to worry, CGF has filed a lawsuit and the Roster will be a thing of the past.

You saw a speculation and an opinion.

You did not see a Beretta action. Whether they will or will not be forced off the roster is still in question.

Well the judge thought that 900 guns (at the time) was an adequate selection.

By 2020 the roster will be below 500 I bet. (Currently in the high 700s).
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

                Yep in, .

Then we can buy them on the armored car ice cream/standard cap magazine truck. Or just use the gun show loop hole.

I doubt Beretta will fall off the roster. But I genuinely hope they do, along with every other handgun. When we have zero handguns available to buy, the unconstitutionality of the law will become abundantly clear to the courts.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I posted this in the thread listed by the OP as well.

Just for clarity, there are 770 Handguns on the 2016 roster. Not ALL of them drop off on 1 Jan 2017 either. There are ~80 that are listed as dropping off on 1 Jan 2018.

Some of the onlist Berettas are eye-talian made...
