Does Germany have less restrictive gun laws than CA? Well, no but we are not far off.

I don't know if this has been posted before. I thought it was interesting to compare to Commiefornia laws.

Without watching the video I think the gun laws have actually gotten a little more open than when I was stationed there in the late 70s. Even back then shooting and hunting was very popular and most towns had a gunsmith and/or gunshop. Military semi rifles were pretty controlled but other stuff was available. 98ks were very popular.

I encountered a Heer helo on a reforger (H53) parked in a field. Went to talk to the air crew. The pilot was carrying a mini 14 but only had the factory 5 round magazine. He thought the mini 14 far superior to the issue Uzi subgun that they were issued. Guess he didn't know what some on this board call the mini 14.

This isn't the first time this video has been posted here.

-Have to have a "valid" reason to own a gun? Notice how "Self Defense" isn't a valid reason to own a gun.

-Carry? Not! There are places in CA where on can get a permit.

-Storage? In a certified safe when not in use. No self defense. Notice how he cites the usual Liberal garbage about kids and burglars. He's clearly been indoctrinated.

-Background checks? Gotta pass them. Remember, "they want to know who has these things".

I always enjoy talking to my non-US friends about actually carrying a gun daily, everywhere I go. Watching them try to wrap their heads around the idea is entertaining.
