Not having a truck, it would be nice to know where to go on BLM and NF lands without having beat up my car on dirt roads more than I have to in order to find a safe place to shoot. It would also be nice is someone gave me a 2009 Tacoma 4x4.

By the way, if anyone knows of a good spot in the North Los Padres National Forest shoot me a PM or post it here. I clean up after myself, and I don't have any friends, so don't worry about the whole world finding out about it.

I shoot in my backyard now.

When I lived in San Diego, I would visit my BIL in Hemet and we would go out to Bee Canyon to shoot. Directions are located in the "search" feature.

Then, Sir, we will give them the bayonet! (Stonewall Jackson's reply to Colonel B.E. Bee when he reported that the enemy were beating them back. At the first battle of Bull Run, July 1861)

I think it's a great idea. I actually asked this in a thread just the other day. Did not get much of a response though. Seems like you say people like to keep their secrets.

Shooting spots are like Fishing spots. Some things just need to be kept private. On fishsniffer, i posted a spot where i caught some nice catfish. the following week end, there were 4 times as many people there. I had no place to fish so I had to find a new spot. They all said "I found this place on the internet" oops my fault.
