I understand what you mean. If there was a way to get money for donating blood and going to a sperm bank i would do it just to get another gun......

Just an update...fours years later, an Itrader now at 193 (it was 14 when I wrote the original post)

God I remember 2 safes.....those were NOT the days!

One thing I've learned is buy the best guns and reloader a you can because as your tastes, skills, and knowledge increase, so too will your desire to have match quality rifles, guns, and especially ammo. You can't really buy MATCH ammo, you have to make it.

Having seen the craziness of 1999, 2008, and 2012/13 all I can say is reloading sure beats hanging out at Walmart jostling with the unfortunate.

Calguns, leading the way to gun chaos in our lifetime.

Hi, my name is Jeremiah12 and I fell off the wagon. I grew up shooting guns. Then I married a woman who was not fond of guns but not really against them. So for her I gave up all my rifles except for my first, she is too special, a Winchester .30-30.

Then last December my son asked me why I never took him shooting. He is 19 now. That brought back fond memories.

I went out and bought myself a Glock 19, the last one in the LGS (owned by the family of a former student of mine, I get first dibs on anything). Shooting that Glock sent me over the edge.

My love has always been military rifles and old lever actions. I got my C&R as well as my COE.

Then one day I saw the cutest Freedom Arm .22 LR mini revolver in the private sales. I had to have it. While doing the PPT at the LGS I discovered they had 2 10/22s in stock, I had been searching for a pair for my son and I. So I got them. 5 days later, at the LGS where my former student works at, I stopped by and they had 2 North American Arms .22 mini revolvers with consecutive serial numbers. I pulled out my C&R and my COE and DROSed them both. I may never shoot them, they will be just collectables.

Now I am looking for my son's first handgun for his upcoming birthday. I am still looking for my M1 Garand.

I have so fallen off the wagon and I do not care. My son is home from college for the summer and we are waiting for our ammo shipment to arrive Friday so we can go to the range.

I left out the 6 handguns my dad gave to me from his collection in February. He decided he wanted to give his guns to the people he specifically wanted to pass them on to while he was still alive. I have a broomhandle mauser, 2 lugers, a Walther PPK, a Ruger .357 blackhawk and a Ruger .44 magnum blackhawk. They sit in his safe until my safe is delivered and installed. I do visit them once a week.

I have fallen hard and I am taking my son with me.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?
