Yours don't look like they have the ergo endplate; did they stop with that?

I'd like to try one but they're a little more than I want to spend on a replacement stock. When they're on sale or when I find a used one I'll give it a whirl.

They look short but they have 16 inch legal uppers. It's the fake can that threads in front that makes them look short. Like my daughters AR I built.

Her upper is standard as well.....

Hmm.. this particular config might be construed as a thumbhole stock... Also, since you're no longer using the FRS-15 itself as the stock it's conceivable someone will think the bottom is a pistol grip vs the stock. I think it's enough of a gray area in this configuration you should just be prepared to defend it since you're not using it as designed.

I do like the paint job though...

The paint is baked on Cerecote.

This rifle has a bullet button since she's now 18 and the Rifle is legally hers.

I will cut back that black portion to open up that thumb hole area.

She hasn't decided on RAW or not. The Rifle is with her at college. Gasp.
