Which one? I have the larue covert discreet case (169$ square one) isn't worth 169 at all.

I purchased it and it's an attractive case, well made, padded, and fits AR-15 with folding stock just right. No need to separate upper from lower.

+! for the VISM bag. I have one currently and it fits a 16" upper detached from the lower in a collapsed form perfectly. It even has enough room to carry your ear and eye pros in the main compartment. The twp zipper pockets are perfect for mags and cleaning supplies.

or a tennis racket bag as previously mentioned. Considering how much crap most of you guys bring to the range though, I'd imagine the baseball bat bag with its wheels and fence hooks and multiple compartments would fit the bill better. You could throw a soft case or sleeve on your rifle and shove it in the bat compartment, then put all your ammo, targets, cleaning gear, ear and eye pro, staple gun, spotting scope, etc in the main compartment and other smaller ones.

Fender Tele gig bag, about $30. It's also padded with a zipper than can be locked. You will need to do that here as it's not a designed rifle case.

I'm trying to understand the point of having a "discreet range bag." I mean, you're at a gun range, and you're walking in with some sort of a container...what are people supposed to think you have in there? Or are we talking about carrying your rifle discreetly in public outside of a range? I don't get it...

More for when you have to hike through your crappy apartment complex in a bad neighborhood to get to your car. You don't want your neighbors to know you got items worth stealing.
