Financing a gun is a terrible idea. Ask your LGS if they'll do a lay-away plan for you

It doesn't sound like he can afford to buy any right now. How about working an odd shift at 7/11 for fun money?

Sell a gun that's on roster and you can buy again down the line, buy an ar w to that money.

Any redneck bank that finances Tattoos will finance guns. (LOL) Good luck. Jeff Foxworthy quote.

Buy a couple of lowers at one time. That way you only have to do one DROS for all of them.

Agree with others. Buy a stripped lower and then buy a rifle kit with bb reloaded or upper and decide on what lower you want (go featureless). Building it will save you money because most replace the grip, stock and muzzle device, especially if you want to go featureless. Installing a lpk for the first time can be intimidating. However, there are great instructions with pics on ar15.com and there are some helpful vids out there. It's a great way to get to know your rifle. A friend can help you too or have it installed by a local gun shop or gunsmith.

Stock up on some mags and ammo while you are saving up for the rifle kit. You'll want those before you get your rifle kit because once your rifle is built, you'll want to go shoot it.

Good luck. As someone else suggested - work a little OT and save up.

Don't owe money on more credit, you got a family, thumbs up for the stripped lower and build it as you can afford.

Stripped lowers can be $100... If you need to finance $100... get a trash bag and grab some aluminum cans from the neighborhood

If you are LEO... CHP credit union offers gun credit to LEO members. Tons of my coworkers got their fancy sniper rifle and AR by using them.

if you have an established relationship with a shop, you might be able to get into an extended layaway plan, but you need to ask. by all means consider a shop that you trust and if the shop agrees to extended layaway, be very clear on what the terms are and don't be a slacker on payments that are agreed upon. i would suggest the terms be in writing.

Warrior one has financing, but if you're being denied I would assume you'd get denied thru their financing.
