I picked up a nice Sistima Colt and had it in my hand in the elevator going up to my room. A lady in the elevator said how surprised she was to see so many people carrying guns around. She wasn't hostile, just curious. Another guy in the elevator said "Yeah, isn't Nevada great."

Did anyone else see the old guy pushing his old wife in a wheel chair saturday. (old as in 65 plus, and then some) She had an AR (upper only?) in her lap. The GF and I passed them as we were on our way back in after hauling the ammo out to the car. An hour later we saw them again. Now she had two ARs on her lap

A few shows ago I picked up a Colt 1903 "pocket hammerless" and didn't think twice about carrying it around the show in my hand, with the slide locked back. It was no big deal because everybody at the show was holding guns.

But then when I stepped out the door into the long hall that leads to the casino and elevators I realized that I couldn't just put the gun into my pocket, because that would be carrying a concealed weapon. So I just walked through the hotel holding the gun in the least threatening manner I could, trying to appear friendly, but not too friendly, like with a Jack Nicholson "The Shining" smile on my face.

          Nobody looked twice.

Not as cool as me going double fisted with the shotguns, through the casino.

              Old Lady with Two AR's

Pthfndr, That was quite a sight! I had to move aside as they passed because she had the barrels sticking out on the left side. Commented to my friends about it. Maybe they were gifts for the grandkids?

I was hoping for to find FAL parts, but I was without any luck in that.

The nice folks from the Mustang Range (not ranch)/Armed And Safe had a nice display table:
