I ordered Wednesday night, got a shipping label Friday, and it shipped today, will be here end of day tomorrow.

    No issues, qualms, anything.

Only thing I use LAX for is buying 22 wsm ammo. There are a few other places I look into before going to LAX, just too many issues

Last order shipped on day 5.
They have been quoting 3 - 5 days to ship and meeting that so not a big problem, but I've gotten orders from SG (Oklahoma) and Gander (North Carolina) faster.

I think LAX is just panic-driven busy right now.

If I need ammo almost instantly, I'll go to Turners 2 miles away.
(But I have been stocking up recently.)
Again the shipping is not the biggest deal. If can be in their store in 5 min after leaving my house, why should I need to have it shipped? I have the cash and they have the ammo! What else is needed?

Can you order online and pick up in store?

Um, no. They also refuse to ship to "City of LA" because "the law".
It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.

Uh Guys, watch those zip codes. I used to live in Culver City years ago but had an L.A. zip code. I then moved to L.A. and had a Culver City zip code.
Post Office sets zip codes to suit their mail routes, not city limits!

Lax needs better business acumen. They could sell a ton of ammo by accepting will call orders via their website.

They'll state the additional shipping equates an online purchase to in store. No it does not. It's cheaper to buy online if you buy more than one box of whatever.

Hey lax... Accept will calls and stop hiking your in store pricing up. You'll run a ton more volume and save on operational cost of shipping and handling. Fire your bean counter or branch manager. Your current business model is flawed and it's actually costing you lost sales.

You two sound like the tards I get at work complaining they don't get the discount on their hitch. "Well I came in and you had it in stock so why can't you give me the ten dollars off?" "Because it's for an online purchase..ONLY!" Don't like it? Find business elsewhere. I got plenty and you boycotting me over some mediocre crap isn't hurting my reviews or bottom dollar.

One simple action removes confusion...on the website under "About Us or FAQS" just explain that our In-Store Prices differ from our Online pricing. And if the website wanted to be totally transparent, it would provide both prices so customers could make a rational decision. I'm elated you have tons of business and that not getting my $$ won't negatively impact your bottom line. A customer focused business would listen to their customers and ponder is the request being made reasonable or unreasonable. The response would not be, "Here's my middle finger! I don't need your business. I have enough customers already to line my pockets with loot!"

Ventura Munitions (in Vegas) order before 2pm have it at your doorstep by 10am the next morning. That's what I have been doing. Great service and prices.
