I got a ricochet form shooting an inflated tire once. Learned my lesson.

I think it only stung as bad as it did because it was steel shot. Target was a good 30 feet away. Took me a good minute to move my hand from my head to check for blood, thought it went it but I just had a small red mark.

I got hit by a 9mm ricochet, hit me next to my left nipple, left a bruise.

It made me think ...Ya know, you gotta be careful these things they can kill ya.

I took a small chunk of a .454 casull to the shin at an indoor range at maybe 150 yrds (75yds down and back probably). I was wearing shorts, which was retarded in itself, and the piece of lead mostly burned it's way in just under the skin. I didn't jump around hollering like the guys next to me, but it still hurt and convinced me that shorts were a bad idea.
