I've never had a bad experience with CTD, FWIW. I buy from them and Midway mainly. I did just buy some EBR parts from Ameetec Arms in Arizona and they did a great job.

      CTD

I have not had any bad transactions with CTD, besides their shipping costs, which seem a bit high.

I rarely buy anything from Cheaperthandirt anymore. I always check prices of several vendors before I place an order. Cheaperthandirt hasn't been the least expensive in quite a while...

In addition, if you ever have a need to talk to their customer service, brace yourself for aggravation, they never make a mistake...

I tried to buy a gun rack from sportsmans guide and they said it was prohibited in california. I then looked up the SG catalogue and what do you know they really wont ship a gun rack to california.

I have purchased thousands of rounds from them over the last year or so, pistol and rifle and shotgun ammo. Always prompt and correct shipping to Palmdale (LA County) via free UPS.

I always like to remind the pricks who fall for the divide and conquer strategy from the gun grabbers that....

I live in a state that banned gay marriage even though we have more gay people than any other state in the union, and it is in the constitution as being banned.

And most likely they are in a Gay Power state that has gay marriage as being legal and they have to pay taxes to support gay married people.

Then I say I do not do business with states that are gay like theirs and that they need to vote the gays out of office and unite and get powerful else us gun owners in other states will just consider them gay as well, or at least a jail yard punk ripe for the picking and that us real gun owners will not buy from gay gun dealers.

I think we should use this strategy on all those sellers who do not sell to California but live in a state that allows gay marriage.

My experience too. I've have nothing but compliments when it comes to orders from ammoman.com (from .22 LR tracers to 7.62 x 39 to 50 BMG), but I'm only a CA neighbor. I wasn't sure if they got weird about CA orders.

Don't think this stategy will get you very far, as only two states allow gay marriage.

Used them twice, first time was a breeze, 2nd & final time was a major cluster..
Called about a missing order & got some gal who was unable to take notes & use a phone at the same time. Asked me to spell my name 4 times, my zip code 6 times & my address 4 times. I suggested if she wrote down what I told her the first time she could serve more people.... That was last Monday, she told me to call back Tuesday..

Called back on Tuesday & the person I spoke to must have been the first girls dumber sister, zip code multiple times, spelling name.. address etc all over again. Suggested pencil & note paper.... was told to call back on Wednesday

Called back Wednesday & spoke to someone with a clue! Discovered my missing ammo made it all the way to California where it fell victim to FedEx apes.
They sent out a replacement order on Wednesday, it arrived today.

That's not true, actually 32 states allow gay marriage, kind of that is.

There are now 5 states where it specifically states by statute that it is legal and a right, and this number is growing.

There is a total of 32 states that where it is legal or does not ban it by law thus is interpreted by many that say what is not against the law is lawful. This is a decisive issue in our country like slavery was as the battle lines are drawn in getting the states to specifically make it against the law or make it a right of gay man.

So with that in mind I have successfully used the strategy I suggested emailing the FFL who does not sell to CA gun owners because our state is run by gay people terrified of guns and gun owners, that he is a gay FFL since his state allows gay marriage and that I don't buy PINK guns (that they have to be black or else), while our state has banned it by popular vote while his state allows it, and it is in our state constitution that it is against the law, so I did not want to do business with a gay loving occupant of the Dealers state and will preach others to not buy from anyone in that gay loving state.

It works a lot even if his state has banned gay marriage because the idiots that stereotype us all in CA as sheople is likely to not even know his his own states gun or gay laws. I have gotten a lot of confused responses from such sellers and many a time get a dealer to agree to sell to me since they realize that my banning them from having people buy from them for being in a gay loving state has nothing to do with him personally. Just recently I was successful in getting some of that coveted South African 5.56mm battle packs at a good price as the seller changed his mind about selling to me a CA resisdent after I confused him about his states gay marriage laws.

They recently stopped selling a lot of different types of ammo to civilians. The home defense rounds I used to buy from them are now "for sale to law enforcement only" and there is a number they give you to call.

I don't get the point of this. If we as a nation don't stick together, it's so much easer for the anti's to violate the second amendment.
