Because they think it's evil and they might get sued.

Do not buy from them. They're as bad as Sportsman's Guide.

Don't bother ordering from them. They are really messed up.

            There is always a difference

"Do not buy from them. They're as bad as Sportsman's Guide. "

I respectfully disagree. Sportsman's Guide won't ship ammo to Culver City because it's in Los Angeles County while Cheaper than Dirt will. More non-Californians afraid of an LA City law. Pfui!

CTD will rip you off on shipping anyway. Best avoided.

Sportman's Guide & CTD must have sought advice on their CA gun parts and ammo shipping policy from the same law firm; Dumb and Dumber.

Cheaper than Dirt has banned sales to California for many perfectly legal items in California. They are a collective group of losers in the game of sales and assisting people of exercising their RKBAs. Seems to work out for them, but I would not advise supporting them.

I no longer buy from CTD.

About two years ago they were okay but not anymore. They messed up the last couple of orders for me (shipped wrong items, didn't ship the item or shipped to the wrong address) and took a very long time to correct them. My very last order from CTD resulted in a shipment of ammo sent the wrong address and took over two months to resolve it. I had to get my credit card company involved.

Have you guys tried ammoman.com? How are they for shipping to CA?

One thing I've found on CTD that may be of interest to AR-15 owners..not sure if they would have issues shipping this to CA.

Odd, both shipped everything I bought from them to me. I live in L.A. County. In fact, I haven't had an issue with any online retailer not shipping to me yet.

CTD is on my "black list" of businesses. It's ashame, as I've spent thousands with them in the past.
