    Clarification on "Assault Weapon" bills

Do these bills include M1A's, Mini-14s, Saiga rifles, M1 Carbines etc?

If you haven't had a chance to read the bill/law you probably should. Rifles can either be featureless, utilize some new BB, or be registered. Those are the options currently available to us.

"these bills" is a bit too ambiguous. Read the new AW bill and you will readily see for yourself what weapons fall under those guidelines.

Only if they all use featureless components (i.e. no USGI flash hider for the M1A or paratrooper stock for the M1 Carbine)

I have read the bills, I would just like additional clarification and confirmation before I make my purchases - thanks for the input

The way I read it is if it's semi auto with a detachable mag and you add any 1 or more additional assaualt rifle feature and it becomes an assault rifle. M1A, M1 carbine, Mini 14 with a flash supressor or any other feature and bam it's an assault rifle. Gotta be careful with this one.
