What was funny was that there were all sorts of customers waiting in line both ahead and behind, more customers to the sides, no alarms or sirens, no screaming or mass-rushing to the exit doors. In fact, it was pretty much like any other time in an Apple store. (Something which beats the heck out of being a neighbor to those stores in this economy! Those neighbors must be very depressed seeing all the Apple store customers while their own stores are empty.)

I was in a rush to leave but spoke with my sales guy while he invoiced me. I explained that the UOC was legal in CA and what the UOC movement is about. He was very cool about it and apparently the store's staff as a whole is pretty non-judgmental about this topic. I didn't see any staffers do anything unusual about "people with guns, the sky is falling!" or anything like that. Very smoothly done, guys!
Yep, that was Chris! Everyone was very "meh" about the whole thing, it was really nice. I can't believe you didn't see my brother and myself there as well. I was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and my signature Tracker and my brother is 6'4" wearing a red shirt with his Glock 19 near the entrance. Maybe you didn't recognize him without the kilt?

How cool! Too bad you didn't catch us, it would have been cool to chat!

This was at UTC Westfield, not Mira Mesa, where we saw the cops. Is that area really going down?

I will definitely let you guys know next time, it will be fun!

Also a good idea to have $5K or $10K (as recommended by some of the senior and on top of it members here) to defend yourself if you happen to run into the wrong LEO, or stray too close to a school zone as one of our members may have done. Seems even if he didn't he is spending a lot of money defending the charge with no guarantee of getting the money back.

I have money to back it up on reserve.

Before I go I make damned sure I am legal. I even went to far as to make sure that the childcare center was a preschool/daycare instead of the Kindergarten it was listed as. I asked the woman there if it was a "federally mandated school" or not, haha.

Dunno about the mall, but at the open carry lunches at El Indio there were folks stretching from the teens through 50s...

I hope you don't have Dr. Brody for Genetics. He was horrible.

I hear you, good to be in a position to defend it if need be. The problem I see is I would think Theseus was sure he was legal, I have read his accounts and he is very knowledgable of what he is doing. Still, somehow he is now defending himself and paying the price.

The case is still up for grabs, his arraignment is tomorrow. He was cited with a misdemeanor through the mail which seems pretty sketchy. We'll see how it turns out though.

Unfortunately I was in a hurry. I'm pretty sure that seeing a 6' 4" guy in red shirt and wearing a kilt would be an attention-getter, more so than open carrying any gun!
