    Ronnie Barret on Shooting Gallery

I just finished watching Shooting Gallery on the Outdoor channel and this week they were at Barrets shop. On the show the host was interviewing Mr. Barret and asking him about refusing to sell his rifles to the LAPD because the state of CA wont allow civilians to own them. It was a brief but great interview and he had some interesting things to say and a different way of thinking. I was impressed and if I could afford one of his rifles id definitely buy one. All in a all a decent show.

I am watching that myself right now and good for him for telling off the Officials of this state. And he believes that the politicians of this state who are breaking the law should be thrown in jail for their anti 2A laws.

Good Job Mr.Barrett and like he said, If more of the firearms manufactures would refuse to sell firearms to the law enforcement officials of this state as he does the Unconstitutional laws we have would quickly disappear.

He could REALLY do something to help us by making a CA version of the M82 chambered in .510dtc and with a bullet-button installed.

      But that takes more work.

(efore the 50 BMG ban,) He had a CA version of the M82... (M82CA) had a hinged mag, kinda like an SKS. Now, just getting the darn thing in 510.

Id settle for the detchable, bolt action reapeater! Actually, thats what I really want.

I didn`t see the episode, but I think Barrett won`t sell or even sevice the rifles to the LAPD because the LAPD chief supported the .50 caliber ban.

Ronnie is one of a kind. He is one of only 4 people to design a firearm from the ground up by himself and have it adopted by the US military.

                    John Moses Browning
                    John Garand
                    Eugene Stoner
                    Ronnie Barrett

And as much as I hate it, I would rather not have a Barrett than have him Cali-**** his design because some nimwitts up north have their heads where the sun don't shine.

Would you rather know that art is hanging over in France, or would you rather have them take a sharpie and black out any nudity just so you could see it here in the states?

I give Ronnie Barrett props for not selling his rifles to LAPD and standing up for the citizens of CA. Seeing how not many manufactures take a stand like he has. If LEOs want the rifle they can go purchase it from their local gun shop at full price!

That 25mm rifle with a 4ounce bullet was awsome to see as well but the interview took the cake.

I wonder if the LAPD ever got their rifles back from Barrett.

The way I heard it, he refused to even ship them back and the LAPD had to fly out there to pick them up.......wonder how accurate that "story" is.
