Ok guys I'm convinced that switching to the left is doable and it seems like in shorter time than switching eye.

I guess I'm lucky...
I'm left handed and right eye dominant.
I shoot long guns right handed and handguns left handed. Both are sighted with my right eye.
I couldn't shoot a long gun left handed to save my life but I'm actually not bad with a handgun right handed, weak hand.
When I first picked up a gun these just felt natural and I went with it, never really gave it any thought.

Interestingly...
I use a longbow or a recurve right handed. Conventional fishing reels I need right handed (right hand drive), spinning reels I need to switch to left hand (right hand drive). I cast both in a left handed manner.

OP. Just curious how many years have you been shooting rifles? I got switched over a long time ago and it was seamless.

Switch on over, you'll be glad you did. When you start shooting trap and skeet you will really appreciate the swap over.

I made the switch as well. Right handed, left eye dominant, was always just an average shooter until a friend recognized my problem. Now I shoot long guns lefty, it was an easy switch.

I shoot handguns with the right hand and long guns with my left hand. Everybody I shoot with that's former military just wants me to suck it up and shoot long guns right handed. Apparently if I was in the military I'd have to correct this or have it corrected.

I guess I'm strange. I can change what eye is dominate at will. For example,When driving do people really turn your head to use the left rear view mirror? i just use my left eye. I think most could with practice.
