Unfortunately, Costco's Board of Directors are very anti gun. It will never happen. Also, when you sign up for a membership there is a clause that states that guns are not allowed in their buildings.

My local building (Redding) doesn't enforce it. On two occasions I've seen customers accidentally expose their firearms but the employees/management didn't give a sh*t because this is a very pro gun friendly area of California.

They were also selling quick access single pistol storage boxes, the kind with a 4 number keypad. First they had a large selection for $99 each. I was there last weekend and they had just a handful left marked down to $79
