The answer is clear. Don't do your transfers in LA city limits. There are tons of problems. Burbank is right down the road.

    Good luck.
Really? Tons of problems? The only things different regarding firearm purchases are: 1 in 30 applies to new, used and PPT. Small handguns are no go in City of L.A.

They told me on the phone $50 for the out of state transfer, $80 total with dros. I get there and they raised the price to $95. Do not recommend. Try Addax. That is where I will be going next time. And, they have nice AR lowers, so you can pick one up on the same dros while there. http://www.addaxtactical.com/addax-t...receiver/dp/69

        LowThudd,
That's not cool...quoting a price and charging higher.

        Addax is a nice store.

Thanks all for the feedback. I purchased a firearm thru Gallery of Guns and it will be sent to them for processing.

I usually have the firearm go to ADDAX but their business hours no longer work with my schedule {Sundays or Mondays work for me but ADDAX is closed on those two days }.

If you go to Addax make sure your license shows your current address. I was refused a PPT there because mine did not, despite having proof of residence.

Same here. I've never done a purchase or PPT there but all of their employees are unbelievably polite and helpful.

                  2nd that. ^^^

Addax is by far a better FFL for PPT and out of state transfers. No hassles and/or price changes.

You won't have any problems if you did it through Davidson's. I've done a Gun Genie purchase shipped to Target Range and it was flawless. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a gun from them either.

I much prefer Addax or Fort Courage though, and they get the majority of my business.
